Church Mail Lists
What are Mail Lists
Mail lists provide a way for people to communicate with an entire group of people.
Some lists have hundreds of members. Our lists tend to be small. Our main church
mail list runs between 50 to 60 subscribers.
To join a list you "subscribe" to it. This doesn't cost anything. You will
find descriptions of our mail lists below as well as as links to click on to subscribe,
unsubscribe, and send a message. (Please note that you must be a member of the
list to send a message to the list).
Some people worry about the volume of email they may get from these lists. In
fact, the volume of mail from these lists is quite low. For example, the main church
list rarely ever has more than 25 messages a month. Usually the volume is between
5 to 10 messages a month.
When you subscribe to a mail list you should receive an email from Yahoo Groups
which gives more information about the service, as well as instructions on setting
up a Yahoo identity and adding other email addresses to send messages from. You
can only send a message from one of these email addresses.

Main Church Mail List
This mail list exists to provide general information about the
church. Members of the list
can share information about what is going on in the life of the
church. It is an additional way of announcing what your groups are
doing in the church.

This is a list for Mebane UMC youth and their parents.
